So Kaitlyn's 8th birthday party theme has been officially picked: PINKALICIOUS!! I am so excited to be planning her party, even if it is two months away still LOL. I just LOVE party planning and all things PINK! There is going to be all shades of pink with frills and ruffles and lots of cupcakes!! I have been looking online and have come up with lots of ideas. I'm posting a few photos I have found around on random blogs for inspiration. What do you think?

Happy birthday Dallas and Emma!!!

So we went to Lake Dallas to my nephew Dallas's 8th and my niece Emma's 5th birthday party. We had a great time and it was so nice to get to spend time with the family I don't have a chance to see that often. The kids had a blast playing all day and fell asleep as soon as we hit the car for the ride home. It was a good trip though and I can't wait to do it again at Christmas time.

Here's a random photo of a hot air balloon we saw today. This photo is SOOC and I thought the colors had amazing contrast and vibrance so I did absolutely nothing to it. Yay me!! Since the kids have now seen a hot air balloon and were in total awe with it, they are convinced they must take a ride in one. Too bad for them that momma is too scared!! Though the next time there is a hot air balloon show we will simply have to take them :)

Well haven't had time to post anything on here. Had a busy weekend, been editing wedding photos like crazy and trying to chase after a house full of kiddos. I did manage to still take some photos this weekend. Here's a few of my sister-in-law Laura. She is simply beautiful.

I also wanted to post that I now know what Kaitlyn's birthday party theme is going to be: Candy!! Its going to be bright and colorful with an awesome cake and a candy bar and I am making all the decor myself. It's going to be so cute! I am also making all the little girls a tutu each to take home so going to need the next two months to make them and plan everything. Super excited!!! We went to McDonalds and I stole these photos while we were sitting in the car waiting on my dad to get there. I just adore my family, they are so beautiful.

This below is a picture of my next project :) I am going to paint the tree mural on a canvas to hang up on Brooke's bedroom wall. Wish I could find that bedding in toddler or twin size too.

I have officially decided I am going to be redecorating my house in vintage floral shabby chic. That gorgeous bedding above goes great with that theme. The pattern of roses would be the perfect pattern for a chair in my living room. I plan on repainting some of my furniture to be white and distressed. I'm so excited!!

My photos taken today couldn't have came on a better occasion. My sister Kathryn went into labor and delivered a beautiful baby girl named Abigail this afternoon. Here's a  photo of my new niece. I'm a very proud auntie :)

I just have to post this second one because, although it isn't the most focused shot, I just love it oh so much!

365 Blog

So, I was going to make this blog just strictly a 365 blog and post a photo a day, but then I got to thinking, what would be the stories behind my photos? So this is where I came to, a blog about my family instead of just a 365 blog. It's gonna be a little more personal and nitty gritty, but now you will get a view into our world and the stories behind the photos I will be posting each day. Maybe some crazy tales, some motherly insight and advice, and even a quick rant along the way too. So please stayed tuned in because there is alot more to come from this crazy household!! ~ Victoria
